India's Missile Advancement

India has made significant progress in missile technology over the pas few decades,with the development of both short-range and long range missiles ,Here are some of the key missiles developed by India: 1.Agni Missile:This is a series of medium to intercontinental range ballistic missile developed by India's Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO).The Agni missile have range of 700 to 5500 Km and are capable of carrying nuclear wareheads. 2.BarhMos Missile:This is a supersonic cruise missile jointly developed by India and Russia.It has range of 290 Km and can carry a conventional warehead of up to 300kg. 3.Prithvi Missile:This is a surface to surface missile with a range of up to 350km.It can carry both conventional and nuclear wareheads. 4.Nag Missile :This is anti tank missile with a range of 25km.It is designed to intercept and destroy enemy aircraft and missiles. 5.Akash Missile:This is a surface to air missile with a range of 25 Km .It is designed to intercept and destroy enemy aircraft and missiles. 6.Astra Missile:This is an air to air missile with a range of up to 110km.It is designed to be launched from fighter aircraft and can intercept and destroy enemy aircraft at varying altitudes. India's missile program has been largely indigenous,with the DRDO playing a key role in the development of these missiles. The country's missile technology has been tested extensively,with many successful missile tests being carried out over the years.
